The College of Science and Chemistry department are excited to invite you to a dynamic workshop titled "Boom, Fizz and Color: Chemistry Comes Alive."

This workshop is designed to make abstract chemistry concepts easy to understand through hands-on, visually engaging experiments. By actively participating in safe reactions, participants will develop curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for science. Our goal is to enhance experiential learning, making chemistry enjoyable, memorable, and relevant to real-life applications.

Event Details:

  • Date: February 12, 2026
  • Time: 10:00 AM
  • Location: [Insert Location/Hall Name]
  • Organizing Committee: Hezha I. Adil, Sahand Abdullah, Ararat Ghafar

Workshop Objectives:

  • To make chemistry exciting and accessible to everyone.
  • To observe and explain chemical reactions that produce gas, color changes, and energy.
  • To inspire first-year students to think critically and creatively, encouraging the development of original ideas, experimental design skills, and future research interests.
  • To work collaboratively to conduct experiments and share observations.

We look forward to seeing you there for an exciting day of science!
