Justification: In this workshop, the process of publishing scientific papers will be discussed, including tips for writing and submitting research. It notes that scientific papers are intended to share original research with other scientists and involve peer review. The five steps of publication are outlined as preparing the paper, identifying the appropriate journal, rechecking the paper, submitting it, and addressing feedback. Key tips include focusing on innovative aspects, clearly structuring the paper, using appropriate methodologies, and being patient during the writing and review process.

Objectives:

• Providing a guidance on how to publish a research paper.
• To discuss the different types of research papers and journals.
• To show researchers can identify a suitable target journal; following the journal's submission guidelines; undergoing peer review; revising the manuscript based on reviewer feedback.
• Explaining criteria for selecting a good journal include reputation, editorial quality, impact factor and indexing status. Pre-submission activities involve finalizing the manuscript and checking for plagiarism.
