Under the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Science (Prof. Dr. Mohammed Aziz Ibrahim) and with the presence of the Associate Dean and Head of the Physics Department, on Monday, February 24, 2025, the SPS Physics Chapter, supervised by Dr. Haval Yaqoob, in collaboration with the CDC Center, conducted a workshop titled "The Future of Physics: Career Insights & Opportunities."

The workshop began with welcoming all attendees and honoring the spirits of martyrs, as well as presenting a short theatrical performance about the science of physics.

After an introduction by the Head of the Physics Department, information about what physics is, the achievements of the Physics Chapter in the previous year, and physics work were presented by the chapter's students.

Following this, a panel discussion was held hosted by Dr. Khidir Ramadan, Dr. Ahmed Khairaldeen, and Ms. Awat, who discussed how to find training opportunities, educational opportunities, how to prepare a CV, and how to prepare for job opportunities.

After the discussion concluded, during the break time, several companies such as IBB, Ihsan Electric, Maryam Optical, 4steen Group, and Robotics & AI Club, who sponsored this activity, presented their products to the students and discussed training and job opportunities for the attendees. The goal of the Physics Chapter in this workshop was to highlight the roles of physics in different and diverse fields, emphasize the importance of physics in the professional field, and present the path to success to all members of society.
