On Thursday 27-04-2017 and with the support of the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Ezzaat Al-Naqashbandi, the College of Science /University of Duhok organized a scientific trip for the students of Chemistry Department to the Oil Company of Shekhan.

The trip has been supervised by the teaching members of Chemistry Department:

1-      Dr. Shireen Othman Ismael

2-      Miss. Huda Ali Ibraheem

3-      Walla Hamadi Abdul-Qadir

4-      Suhad Abdulrahman Yasin

The main goal for this visit included:

1- Introduce the students to the oil industry as a field study in order to connect the theoretical knowledge with the practical applications.

2- Follow the scientific developments and elaboration a members in the field of chemistry, which able to deal with scientific and industrial developments in the field of oil chemistry and how to design a systems to enhance oil production and improve the quality of oil as a great economic utility to Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
