The journal ChemistrySelect at the University of Manchester commended two lecturers from the University of Duhok, College of Science—Dr. Solin Saeed Ahmed and Dr. Shireen Othman Ismail—for their published research titled:

(Advanced Pyrene Copolymer/rGO Hydrogels for Efficient Congo Red Removal from Aqueous Systems)

The research was published in the aforementioned journal and was selected among the top 10% of the most viewed papers by researchers in the year 2025 for that journal.
