Please bring a laptop provided with internet to the workshop

Before you attend, install Latex in your laptop by following these install steps:

Required software:

1- Packages Manager (download and install it from here and choose your OS)

2- Text Editor. There are many software doing this job. (best ones are: Texmaker and Texstudio). I recommend "Texstuio" for some reasons.

Justification:

LaTeX is a programming environment for writing scientific document. If you work in mathematics, statistics, computer science or physics research, it is somewhat important to know how to typeset a document in LaTeX. Almost all scientific mathematical journals accept only LaTeX files.  Furthermore, graduate students often use LaTeX to format their theses. Since it has great ability in writing, controlling page layout, fonts, formatting, and ensuring a professional and consistent appearance.

Objectives:

The objective of this workshop is to introduce the participants to the basics of Latex typesetting system and teach how to prepare journal articles and theses using the Latex template.
