Global Mushroom Day Celebrated at the College of Science, Biology Department
With the attendance of the Vice President of the University of Duhok for Student Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Ibrahim; the Dean of the College of Science, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Aziz Ibrahim; the Vice Dean, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hussein Khalil; and the Head of the Biology Department, Dr. Bakhtiar Nader Ali.
On Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM, a workshop was held under the title "Global Mushroom Celebration."
The event was organized in the Biology Department at the College of Science by third-stage students, under the supervision of:

Objectives: The aim of this event was to introduce various types of mushrooms and highlight their benefits for health treatments, as well as their richness in vitamins.
