On 4^th December 2017, the Department of Chemistry, college of Science from the University of Duhok organized an educational visit to Zakho water plant directorate for 3rd stage students. The visit was organized with the supervision and guidance of Dr. Mohammed Khalil Younis along.

The main aim of the field visit to the Drinking Water Treatment Plant was to enhance the theoretical knowledge obtained in the class by observing the different procedures of the treatment plant. Different parts of the treatment plant were observed and the process was understood during the visit.

Officials at plant guide the students regarding different aspects of treatments of water and gave the satisfactory answers to different questions raised by students.
